Burnout is a state of emotional, physical, and mental exhaustion caused by excessive and prolonged stress. It occurs when you feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, and unable to meet constant demands. What it can look like is dreading the end of the weekend, looking for reasons to avoid contact in that draining relationship or generally not feeling driven to act or get going on your goals. You may even find it hard to create goals when you are in this state of exhaustion!
